We meet starting in late August thru June. We do not meet on school holidays (Aldine District) and during Holy Week and Monday after Easter. A Calendar is given out for the following month with our activities planned. We have a Court of Honor to present any advancement in ranks and also earn merit badges. We try to have at least 2 a year. Every parent is responsible for registration/ recharter fees, troop fees, camping fees, and purchase of the boy scout uniform .

Scouts go camping every chance they get. They prepare themselves to do their best in emergencies and to care for their environment with Good Turns and other service projects. The Scout Law (Trustworthy, Loyal, Helpful, Friendly, Courteous, Kind, Obedient, Cheerful, Thrifty, Brave, Clean & Reverent) Scout Oath (On my honor, I will do my best, to do my duty to God & my country, and to obey the Scout Law, to help other people at all times, to keep myself, physically strong & mentally awake & morally straight) have shown the way for millions of boys and men during their time as scouts and throughout the rest of their lives. There are seven ranks, Scout, Tenderfoot, Second, Class, First, Star, Life & Eagle. In order for a Scout to earn the Eagle rank which is the highest rank in Boy Scouts, he must earn 13 eagle required merit badges & 8 miscellaneous, & show leadership during an eagle scout project and meet all those requirements before his 18th birthday. Every scout works from a Boy Scout Handbook and has requirements to meet to earn each of the above mentioned ranks. They also have a variety of merit badges that they can. They also learn how to cook and share duties as a patrol when they are on an outing like camping, or hiking. The scouts also learn about leadership, first aid, outdoor survival, citizenship, and community.
